Work on the new Baseball/Softball Complex located on South School Street continues. Backstops for the 3 fields were constructed using pipe donated by XTO Energy in Ozark.

Fencing around the 3 fields has been completed and the City is currently researching options for lighting at the fields. The fields will be ready to play on next spring.

The City recently received a donation of $50,000 from Pat Walker

of Springdale. Mrs. Walker is the chairman of the Willard and Pat Walker Charitable Foundation. The Foundation had previously given the City $50,000 in Wal-Mart stock as a donation to help fund the Complex.
